Praise God! A family has donated money for Martin and I both to get bicycles. This will really help us travel around Kitgum for ministry!

Please pray for Martin's son Esau who was bit by a scorpion again!! Pray for God's protection over Martin, his wife Susan, and all of their children.

Erica has found a great housing option. The facility would be for Africa4God and would be used for living quarters for Erica, a learning facility for the ladies and a place to stay for short term missionaries. We are prayerfully considering this option but need the provision of $500 a month to maintain the lease. Please pray that God provides the money for Africa4God's base of operation in Kitgum.

Quick update. Mom and I went into town earlier today, and stopped at a pharmacy to get something. Mom felt led to ask the lady if she was born again, and she said no but wanted to hear more. We shared with her and at the end prayed with her to receive Jesus! She had tears welling up in her eyes and said: "Now I know God really loves me, and He has changed my life today." Her name is Lily. Please keep her in prayer! Pray that I will have an opportunity very soon to start a ladies Bible study with these new believers in town.

There is too much to say about all that God is doing, but I will be brief.

Before leaving Kampala we were working on some logistics, including meeting the lawyer and the drilling company and other things. We went to one of the government offices that needs to approve our work, and we got a letter of approval and recommendation from them- in ONE day. Things don’t move that quickly around here. This was God’s favor and we were blown away..

Erica is meeting with all of the necessary authorities and everything is coming together piece by piece (moat-moat) to make Africa4God an official NGO. A man named James who she knows is close to a lot of the authorities, and has been a huge help. Praise God for Him! Last night, they actually did NOT lose power (Thank GOD!!). It starts getting really hot after 3 pm, so this was a very welcome blessing!

Erica and her mother, Marilyn Fye, are staying at the Tender Trust orphanage right now, surrounded by the sweet, beautiful children there. They are feeling very blessed and are so glad to be serving the Lord there!

Please Pray:
It is 120 degrees there, and they keep losing power. They are sunburned and hot. They have the use of a car right now, but Africa4God still really needs a car of their own. Exchange rates and prices are very high, so pray for provision.

We arrived safely in Uganda late last night. We were delayed a day, but God knows why. We are in Entebbe now, with Martin. Already God is giving opportunities, the three of us were sharing with a Muslim driver today about the Lord and had an amazing time!! Tomorrow, to the city to take care of logistics..

God has provided the balance for the borehole in Pogee! He is SO faithful! We will be able to get it drilled as soon as the company is available to do the job. I will be meeting with them in Kampala the week after I arrive to set up a time.

The next big expense we have is a vehicle, and we look forward to seeing how the Lord will provide for this one. Please keep this in prayer!

Mom and I leave in two days for Uganda!! Can’t wait.

I can’t believe 2011 is gone, and a new year has begun. I want to be closer to the Lord this year, more passionate for Him, more sold out on behalf of the people of Uganda and S. Sudan (and the world over.) This year we are closer than ever to the return of our Lord. This year needs to count for the Kingdom in my life personally. Despite my flaws, I want to bring a smile to Jesus’ face. I want to be a living sacrifice every day. I want to fight the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith.
