Forgotten Youth Ministry
I had the opportunity to make an amazing connection in Michigan. There is a woman by the name of Julie Paul who runs a ministry, “Forgotten Youth Ministries,” which targets children in the juvenile justice system in Michigan. Years ago the Lord gave her a curriculum which she uses to teach these youth the Good News of salvation and important Biblical principles in simple English. When our mutual friend Brenda told Julie I was a missionary who was coming to stay with her for a while, the Lord spoke to her that she was to give me the curriculum, even though she didn’t even know what I did or who I work with in Africa. We met together and I shared with her what God has called me to do. Years ago, when God gave her the vision for the children and the idea for writing a curriculum, He spoke to her that it would be used internationally. She never knew how that could be possible, until now. The curriculum will be perfect for the ladies in the prison, and for several of the children’s programs as well. I’m so blessed and excited to see how the Lord will use this to impact the people!
